Centre Manager
Elspeth has a background in education and leadership and has worked in remote and regional areas of Northern Territory, Western Australia, and Queensland. Her passions are equity and justice, well-being and empowerment of others, partnerships and teamwork, and creativity.
Abigail Lang
First Nations Engagement Officer
Abigail Lang is a Gomeroi woman who has lived in St George most of her life. Her working background has generally been in Reception/ Administration Roles in the Health and Community Services Sector. She has a keen interest in business and has completed a Diploma & Adv Diploma in Leadership & Management.
Eliza Woodruffe
Student Engagement and Support Coordinator (SESC)
Eliza has nearly 30 years experience in the retail, administration and education fields and is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) part-time. Eliza is excited to join CUC Balonne and is looking forward to providing a comprehensive range of support services for registered students, as well as facilitating widening participation activities for school-age students.
Jessica Embrey
Learning Skills Advisor (LSA)
Jess graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Secondary Education. During this study, she majored in Geography and minored in English. Her philosophy in education is strongly focused on the core value that all students must have equal access to quality education and support. This ensures that, regardless of geographical location, students in rural and remote regions are provided with enthusiastic support and learning experiences.
Emily Geiger
Administration Assistant
Emily has worked in many administration roles over the years as well as owning a small business. After some time away raising three children, she is very excited to jump back into the workforce with CUC Balonne.
